1. Do you have templates available?

Yes, you can use our EZ-Template™ II program within your account to create and customize your documents for free. We have many designs for you to choose from or you can create your design from scratch here also.

2. Can I design a postcard using my own software?

Yes, you can find full design specifications by clicking here.

3. I am creating a design using my own software. What are your color requirements?

We print our products using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) colors. Please be sure that your design program is set up to print for CMYK. If your color is set to RGB (Red, Green, Blue) than it will not necessarily print the colors as you intended.

Please be aware that the color may print differently than it appears on your computer screen. The only way to insure color is to order a printed shipped proof.

We run to a "pleasing color" standard. Pleasing color is defined as satisfactory even though it may not precisely match the original sample.

4. Can I see what my design will look like printed?

Yes, you can order a shipped proof to be sent to you via overnight UPS or you may order a black and white proof to be sent to you via fax. Proofs are $10.00. Your order will not be printed until you approve the proof. If you want to see what the product will look like cut, you must request the printed shipped proof be cut to finished size.

5. What file type does my design need to be submitted in?

You can design your file in any software that you like. You must submit your file to expresscopy.com in a .pdf, .ps or .prn format. You can convert most files to a .pdf format by either using our Order Wizard or using our pdf converter. We highly recommend using our Order Wizard for easy .pdf conversion. 6. What does the term "bleed" mean?

The term "bleed" is used in the printing industry to describe a design where a background color or image extends to the very edge and no white border is desired. To create a bleed we recommend the image/color extend 1/4 of an inch past the trim line.

We will accept designs where the image/color extend 1/8 of an inch past the trim line. However you accept full responsibility for unsatisfactory results caused by bleeds under 1/4 of an inch.
