  • Eye-Catching Photography – This piece lets the pictures do the heavy lifting. Note how each picture features a different angle of the building (street-level, interior, etc…).


  • Showcasing Success – Not only does this piece show a recent Just Sold but the back lists off several more successes.


  • Picture Spacing – Having pictures in the piece is important but it is equally important to make sure that they are evenly spaced otherwise the visuals could overload the viewer.



Robin Myers is a broker with Windermere Real Estate who specializes in condominium and urban lifestyle properties. Robin operates in the Bellevue, Washington area


Josh Nelson: Hi Robin, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this interview. How do postcards fit into your marketing plan?


Robin: Postcards are a critical part of my marketing. I send out one postcard mailing a month. Postcards are very important to what I do and I won’t ever stop using them.


Josh: Excellent, we love hearing how important postcards are to our customer’s success. What is your goal with postcards? Is it to get new clients or potential buyers?


Robin: I do a little bit of everything but my main goal is to keep my sphere advised on what the market looks like but I do also send out Just Listed and Just Sold postcards.


Josh: Who is your target market for your postcards?


Robin: I specialize in condominiums in the Bellevue, Washington area. About 50% of my target market is older. This is where postcards are critical to my success. I’ve found older consumers aren’t as tied in to email or social media and postcards has always been an effective way to reach out to them.


Josh: So what kind of results are you seeing with your postcards?


Robin: My results have always been very good. I send out about 250-400 postcards each mailing and I always get at least 2-3 calls and an appointment or two.


Josh: Glad to hear that you are getting great results with your mailings! That covers all my questions I had for you. Any closing comments?


Robin: I don’t have anything specific. I just want to say that you guys are the only company I use for my postcards and I never plan on changing that. The quick turn-around and quality are excellent. The cost per postcard is also really low. has always been so reliable.
