5. Creating an output file
Creating a Postscript File
Once you have created your document following the procedures in the "Getting Started" section, select "Print" (check to make sure that the appropriate printer driver has been selected in this dialog box). Select the "Print" button to proceed. The "Print to File" box should appear at this point (see right). Look for the "File Name" box, which should have a *.prn filled in. Replace the * with the name of your file (e.g., FileName.prn). Check the folder in which the .prn file is to be saved (e.g., C:\My Documents), as you will need to identify the path to this folder when attaching your file to your work order.
Note: on Windows NT/2000/XP you will not be able to select the destination of the file, only name the file
in the "Output Filename" box. You must add '.prn' to your filename, it will not be added automatically.
You may have to search your computer to find the file
after printing to the new expresscopy printer driver, Splash or Imagesetter.
Clicking "OK" will create the .prn file in the displayed folder. You are now ready to send your file to expresscopy.com.
