3. Fonts & file sizes

Preparing Files for Printing
» 1. Before you create your document
 » 2. Using Images
 » 3. Fonts & file sizes
 » 4. Checking & reviewing your document
» 5. Creating an output file
 » 6. Sending your file

Fonts

All fonts must be embedded in the PostScript or PDF document you are sending to expresscopy.com. Our Printer Driver defaults to include all fonts. If another printer driver is used, please select that ALL fonts (including Times New Roman) are embedded in the file. When a font "drops" from your document, it will delay printing.

File Sizes

Typical file size are approximately between five and fifteen megabytes. If your file size is larger than fifteen megabytes, you may experience difficulty in transmitting your file over the internet. Please take a look at Using Images for possible solutions, or check our troubleshooting section for more information.
