Download Printer DriversChoosing the appropriate printer driver. A "Postscript Printed" file is a file that is created when data from some application (e.g. Microsoft Publisher, QuarkXpress, Adobe Pagemaker) is rewritten into Postscript language. This "Postscripting" is done using a Postscript print driver, such as the Adobe Postscript printer. Postscript print drivers create files with a .prn or .ps extension. "Portable Document Format" (PDF) files are created by software that reads Postscript data and converts it to PDF format. Programs such as Adobe Acrobat Distiller can read a previously generated .prn file and convert it into a PDF file. PDF files can be viewed on your monitor using Adobe Acrobat Reader. All of the above are "virtual" printers as they are not connected to your computer. Therefore, these printers will always "Print to File", that is, they will create a "printed" file on your hard drive. These .prn or .pdf files will be what you send to expresscopy.com. |
