About Our Printing Process
Xeikon 5000 Digital Presses
Expresscopy.com was the first company in North America to install the ground-breaking Xeikon 5000 digital printing press in 2004. The Xeikon 5000 prints in brilliant full-color on both sides of a page at the same time, allowing us to produce high-quality printed products efficiently and accurately. Flexible and fast, these amazing presses allow us to produce completely personalized marketing materials with 24-48 hour turnaround.
Intergrated Order Tracking and Order Management
Our one-of-a-kind order tracking system allows everyone from our press operators to our customers to check on the status of an order at any time. That means your order gets the personalized attention it
deserves.
Direct-to-Plate Printing Technology
Our digital presses print directly onto the paper stock, without the need for screens, plates, or other setup. This has two important advantages:
- Less set up time and fewer materials keep our turnarounds quick and our prices low.
- We can individually address postcards by automatically merging your address list with your design.

About Our Paper Stocks
Choice of 3 Quality Paper Stocks
Printing, of course, is only as good as the paper it's printed on, so expresscopy.com has chosen 3 high
quality paper stocks that will survive the rigors of handling and mailing, meaning the postcard, flyer, or
business card in your customers' hands will look just as professional as it did when it first rolled off the
press. Beware of competitors who may cut costs by using lighter or inferior stocks....it does make a difference!
Please note: We do not recommend running any of our printed products through a desktop printer or other heat-producing equipment, as it may damage both the product and your printer.
Premium Bond Paper - This is a 28# white, uncoated laser sheet. It is very bright and smooth, excellent for flyers and brochures.
Cover Stock - This is a standard 90# white, uncoated cover sheet, excellent for heavier flyers, regular sized postcards and covers.
Heavy Cover Stock - This is a smooth, white, uncoated 10pt heavy cover stock, excellent for business cards and postcards. Bindery services are not available for this stock.
Choice of 2 Protective Coatings
Cover Stock is available with your choice of two protective finishes:
Laminated Cover Stock - This is a 90# cover stock with the addition of a glossy lamination added to both sides (we cannot apply lamination to one side only). It is great for business cards, covers and postcards. With a highly durable plastic coating it provides optimal protection from USPS processing but is non-recyclable.
Please note: Orders
run on this stock require one extra day of production. Label stickers may not adhere to the lamination if ordering postcards to address and/or mail yourself. Cannot be run through a desktop printer. No bindery services available.
90# UV Coated Cover Stock - This is a 90# Cover stock with the addition of a glossy UV coating added to both sides (we cannot apply coating to one side only). Excellent for regular and jumbo size postcards. UV coated stock is only available on direct mail postcard orders (Print + Address + Mail). It is not available on Print-Only or Print + Address orders.
Fully recyclable.
Please note: Orders run on this stock will require one extra day of production. Provides minimal protection against postal processing wear. Cannot be
scored or folded.
